For Families

Helping a Loved One Begin Treatment.

You don't have to navigate this alone. Our admissions team supports families through every step — from the first concern to long-term aftercare.

Watching a loved one struggle is exhausting and frightening. Many families spend years trying to help before finding the right level of care. Our team listens without judgment and helps you understand options — including how outpatient treatment can support recovery while your loved one stays at home and engaged with school, work, and family.

How Families Are Involved in Treatment

  • Family therapy and education sessions where clinically appropriate
  • Coordination with schools, prescribers, and primary care providers (with consent)
  • Support groups and family-focused programming at select locations
  • Aftercare planning that includes the people closest to the client

If You're Worried About an Adolescent

We provide dedicated adolescent programming with age-appropriate group therapy, individual sessions, and family involvement. Care is coordinated with schools to minimize disruption.

Veteran Mental Health Treatment at High Focus Centers

Standing Beside Those Who Served

At High Focus Centers, we recognize that the challenges of service often continue long after returning home. Many veterans face the lingering effects of trauma, depression, anxiety or co-occurring conditions that impact daily life and relationships. Our veteran service line, Project Resilience, provides structure, community and evidence-based care to help clients heal, rebuild confidence and thrive.

Recovery isn’t only about managing symptoms — it’s about rediscovering stability, self-worth and a renewed sense of purpose. Project Resilience at High Focus Centers is proud to walk beside every veteran who takes the courageous step toward healing.

Coming Home to Recovery

Transitioning from military to civilian life can bring unexpected emotional challenges. For some veterans, mental health symptoms like anxiety, trauma responses or mood instability make connection and daily functioning difficult. Loved ones may notice the distance but not know how to help.

At Project Resilience, we work with veterans and their families to rebuild trust and strengthen communication. Our PHP, IOP and outpatient programs allow veterans to receive high-quality care while maintaining balance in their everyday lives.

Rebuilding Strength and Purpose

The strength, discipline and resilience developed in service are qualities that endure — but asking for help can still feel like a battle. Project Resilience helps veterans recognize that seeking support is an act of courage, not weakness.

Through trauma-informed therapy, structured clinical care and compassionate guidance, we help clients process difficult experiences and build coping skills that support long-term emotional wellness. Our goal is to help veterans channel their resilience into recovery and rediscover meaning beyond their military service.
