High Focus Centers is a network of outpatient behavioral health programs serving adults and adolescents across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Georgia. We treat mental health concerns, substance use, and co-occurring conditions with compassion, clinical rigor, and an unwavering focus on the person in front of us.
In Pennsylvania, our programs grew from The Light Program and Rehab After Work, which joined the High Focus Centers family to deliver expanded outpatient care across the Commonwealth.

Our Story
Our mission is to provide the best possible care for our patients. Adults, adolescents and families struggling with addiction or psychiatric illness call us in search of relief. We strive to provide them with elite-level care in the least restrictive setting possible, while matching them with a program that best fits their individual needs. Each individual is given the tools to achieve maximum benefit from treatment while being afforded the flexibility necessary for maintaining a productive life outside of treatment.
Throughout our 30-year history, programs at High Focus Centers have employed evidence-based modalities to deliver highly effective addiction treatment. This can be attributed to the broad experience of the clinical staff, the structure of the programs, and our individualizing of treatment to address each patient’s unique problems.

History & Leadership
High Focus Centers has a strong reputation for innovative programming and has an unmatched record of initiatives that have changed substance abuse and psychiatric treatment in New Jersey for 30 years. We have since expanded our services to Connecticut, Georgia, and Pennsylvania.
Our contributions include:
- In 1994, we created the first substance abuse adolescent intensive outpatient program (IOP) in the state.
- In 2001, we were the first to integrate an adolescent psychiatric partial day program and an after-school psychiatric IOP.
- In 2008, we developed a specialized IOP protocol for opiate addiction, a first in New Jersey, as part of our substance abuse treatment programs.
In 2012, High Focus Centers joined the High Focus Centers family of behavioral health services. High Focus Centers is a system of behavioral healthcare facilities located throughout the eastern United States dedicated to delivering the highest quality of substance abuse and psychiatric services. Since then High Focus has continued to innovate:
- In 2012, we launched a specialized Young Adult Abuse Program
- In 2013, we started a Trauma IOP, completely independent from all other programming
- In 2014, we began the state’s first Adolescent Co-Occurring Illness IOP
- In 2022, we expanded services into Georgia and - In 2023, we expanded into Pennsylvania in a merge with The Light Program and Rehab After Work
High Focus Centers is accredited by CARF International and licensed by the NJ State Department of Human Services.
